Once seen cannot be unseen…
The Cthulhu Baby Head Cup

“Like its demonic predecessor this little cephalopod will also haunt your dreams forever, but in a good way.” – Oliver
As we all know Cthulhu is an ancient god of the deep sea, originally brought to life by American fiction writer H.P. Lovecraft. Lovecraft is best known for defining the cosmic sub-genre called “Lovecraftian horror” which incorporates scientific ideas, and metaphysical concepts to anchor his stories within our universe.

Which brings us to my recent creation now firmly anchored within the cannon of the Cthulhu Mythos. “Lil’ Cthulhu” it’s smaller and infinitely more cute than it’s predecessor. It’s seductive textured reflective eel skin offers a slithery embrace, while iridescent coiling tentacles reveal an internal dialogue of celestial ponderings.

With the creation of Lil’ Cthulhu, I have secured my place within the Lovcraftian canon of the Cthulhu Mythos. As always these works are hand crafted by myself at our studio in Tacoma. The handmade glass processes ensure that each of these ®Baby Head Cups are truly unique. Each tentacle is one of a kind and has a mind of its own. I have had a great response to this piece, and its a great feeling to have my artistry supported by my fans.
It is refreshing to know that the Cthulhu Mythos is alive and well. For example here are some positive affirmations from Angry Robot, it’s never too late to follow your dreams. Available now in our web-store.

Count Dracula was 412 when he moved to England in search of new blood.
Sauron was 54,000 years old when he forged The One Ring.
Cthulhu had seen galaxies flare into life and fade to darkness before he
put madness in the minds of men.
